NEVER fall in love with an Elf! This week in a special Christmas episode we are discussing the jolly, movie-to-musical adaptation Elf: The Musical! Listen along as we discuss the problem with Jovie, breakdown our experiences auditioning for the show, breakdown the musicals distinct lack of "Will Ferrell-ness", continue to make jokes about double casting Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, and talk through the the pitfalls of placing an iconic character onstage outside of its original portrayal. Just remember guys, not everyone can be Legally Blonde.
Note: Sorry for the background noise on this episode! Kat lives in an old New York apartment with a VERY loud radiator and has a cough, but its not COVID, so that’s good. Thank you for your patience!!
