I met Willy when I was getting sober. He was in a solid crew of guys that had been down the same road as I was on. They had blown up their lives and were in the process of putting everything back together. Will was a tremendous support for me and easy to talk to about what I was going through. As the years progressed he had the idea of going back to school and getting involved in the beauty and haircare world. A huge business and something he was worried about doing for the fear of what everyone would say. He was worried about what it looked like even though he had a passion and drive to get involved. He set out and went back to school after working retail for most of his life and learned the craft. He firmly believes that "education is power" and you can advance in whatever you want to do as long as you apply yourself and do the hard work. With the completion of his degree, a wife and dream to open his own salon he moved back up north and set out to follow his dream.
Will currently resides in Connecticut and has since left owning his own salon to get back into more sales, connection and educating those in his field. He makes it fun and creates amazing trade show experiences for anyone that attends. He has created a life by following a few simple suggestions and asking himself some tough questions along the way. His life now revolves around his family and finding comfort in the repetition of spending quality time with his daughter every morning. As he states, "I get to do this today" and it is such a blessing. His life, family, career and much more all derived from living in gratitude and DOING the work.
