Mark began his career in the industry back in 1996 working with a general contractor. It was here where he gained valuable insight into building and establishing good client relations and rapport. During this time, he also learned that creating a team of reliable and experienced contractors is equally as important as the client relationship. The foundation of his knowledge was learned by interacting with different trades and watching the various stages of each exterior construction project.
After his 5-year tenure with the general contractor, Mark witnessed the changing trends and the importance of landscape design and build. Mark was offered an opportunity to help start a landscape design/build firm. During his time here, he learned the intricacies of the landscaping industry, both technically and in design. With this knowledge, he was able to bring in clients from across Toronto, thus growing their client base. Mark’s passion for this industry then led to the start of Blue Circle Contracting Inc.
Blue Circle Contracting was launched in 2003, serving clients for landscaping and masonry needs. Initially involved in small to medium sized projects, Blue Circle Contracting Inc.’s reputation in the industry rapidly led to the need to service larger projects requiring more teams and working with strategic partners.
