This is the cornerstone of Rocky Garza’s practice as an identity coach.

Rocky Garza is a certified identity coach and keynote speaker. His goal is to guide people along their journey of self-actualization, helping them find their true calling and tap into their genuine selves. He recently wrote a book called Kill Doubt Build Conviction. He is also the founder of Wiser Sons, a support community for men looking to become their best selves.
Outside of his professional duties, Rocky is a proud family man who has been happily married for almost 12 years and is blessed with two beautiful children.
“Most human beings on the frontside say, ‘I don’t like change. I just want to be consistent, I want to know what to expect, I want it to be steady.’ And then if we ask the same thing, but in a different way––if we say, ‘do you hope you are in the same place in 5 years you are today?’ Every single one of us would say, ‘No way. I hope to grow.’ Okay, well you can’t simultaneously say, ‘I hate change and I hope to grow,’ because the only way things grow is if things change.” [5:11]
“What is keeping you from the ‘what I do’ part––what is keeping you from doing what you want––is that you don’t know what you want. What is keeping you from doing what you want is that you may know what you want, but you don’t believe that you can.” [10:52]
“What we want and what we believe should be a representation of who we are.” [11:34]
“Most of us can learn how to give grace externally. It’s a much different task to give grace internally. Because grace to yourself is the ability to see yourself in yourself. But most of us spend the majority of our lives looking out the window, wishing we could have what the neighbor has, and not enough time in the mirror, reflecting back on who we are.” [12:48]
