Diarah N'Daw-Spech, founder and president of The African Diaspora International Film Festival (ADIFF) is a not-for profit international film festival that presents, interprets and educates about films that explore the human experience of people of color all over the world in order to inspire imaginations, disrupt stereotypes and help transform attitudes that perpetuate injustice.
Director Clare Anyiam-Osigwe, director of No Shade that will premiere film on November 28th at Columbia University in Harlem. No Shade explores the hardships of the modern dating world through the dysmorphic presence of colorism as well as the fetishization of black women in a way that is tactful and honest.
The film will premiere with a panel discussion led by shoe designer and Harlem World Magazine contributor Etu Evans and Clare Anyiam-Osigwe.
