Pastor Micah started a new series this week called "Death & Life" which focuses on the story of Lazarus. This series looks at the death that comes into our lives, and when situations don't go the way they expect. Then, it looks at the amazing power of God who is able to resurrect any dead situation and breathe life into any circumstance.
This week in week 1 we looked at how 'Jesus waited' to come see Lazarus when Martha and Mary reached out to Him for help. Why did Jesus wait? Because of His deep love that He had for His friends Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. Martha and Mary could have easily asked Jesus "If only You would have come?" How many times have we found ourselves asking that same question? Jesus didn't sow up late, but rather right on time! Our main passage today comes from John 11:1-21.
