Pastor Micah wrapped up our series “Death & Life” where we focused on the story of Lazarus. This week we look at how Jesus challenges us to “roll away the stone!” Here a couple comments from this weeks message that really hit home the main points of this weeks message from John 11:17-44.
🔥 If you are in a relationship with Jesus, then there is no such thing as hopelessness!
🔥 It wasn’t about the fact that Jesus has the power to resurrect. It was about the fact that Jesus was the resurrection. Jesus is the resurrection!
🔥 It doesn’t matter as much about what Jesus can do, but it mattered more than anything else that Jesus was and is the resurrection and life!
🔥 Even now, God can bring life into our situations. Even now, Jesus can breathe life into our existences. Even now, the Holy Spirit can create life out of death!
🔥 It’s one thing to know that God exists. It’s another thing entirely to know that He cares!
🔥I want to suggest to you today that God can turn what you’re going through— He can turn the most hopeless, death-filled situation—into a story of life. You just need to roll the stone away!
🔥 Jesus is calling for you. Do you believe in who He is?
🔥Lastly, Jesus is still: Our Redeemer, Our Creator, Our Savior, and the Resurrection and the Life!
