Pastor Micah finished up our current series called "Drop It." Throughout this series we have grappled with the importance of "dropping" certain things from our life in order to find the most satisfying life possible through a relationship with Jesus. This week we learn by looking at the life of Paul.
The week we talked about the importance of "dropping our rights." The bottom line is that Jesus gave us His rights so you could be righteous. Pastor Micah shared 3 reasons why we don't need to fear giving up total authority and control to God:
1. Jesus will not ask you to do something He hasn't first done Himself.
2. Laying down your rights turns your focus from yourself to others.
3. Putting things in God's place will leave you displaced.
