Pastor Micah shared a powerful Easter celebration message called "Hope of Easter." His message focused on the hope that we have in our lives today because of Jesus' death & resurrection roughly 2,000 years ago!
In John chapter 20 we see what happens immediately following Jesus' resurrection that Sunday morning. Just think about the roll coaster of emotions that Mary Magdalene had been on the past 72 hours. Everything she hoped in and believed had been taken away from her with Jesus' arrest and death upon the cross. Then when she thinks things couldn't get any worse she shows up at Jesus' tomb to see the stone rolled away. Jesus' body is gone! After alerting the disciples, and having them come check out the tomb she finds herself sitting there alone again trying to figure out what has happened. In her brokenness and hopelessness Jesus appears to her. At the uttering of one word, her name, all hope is restored in Mary's life.
If you're looking and longing for hope today, search no more! Hope is available for you today through a relationship with Jesus Christ because of His life, death, and resurrection! So i leave you with this one last question to consider:
