Pastor Micah took time this week to look at the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5,000 (more likely it was 10,000+ when you include the women and children present). In this story we tend to focus on the miracle of Jesus feeding the crowd with the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish (which is truly amazing, only God could do that!), but there are many things to be learned when we look at what took place on the periphery of this miracle as well. We focused on Luke's account of this miracle which is found in Luke 9:10-17. Here are the 5 W's that we can take away from Jesus teaching:

1. WHO got to participate in this meal? Everyone
2. WHAT did Jesus serve at this meal? 2 loaves of bread and 5 fish (aka whatever He had available to Him)
3. WHEN did this meal take place? At the "wrong time."
4. WHERE did this meal take place? Right where they were!
5.  WHY was this meal important? JESUS

Main Point: Jesus WELCOMED the crowd, Jesus TAUGHT the crowd, and Jesus HEALED those in the crowd who needed to be healed.

Bottom Line: At the table of Jesus, ALL ARE WELCOME!
