We had a great time this year at our Christmas Family Service as we focused on the topic of Jesus being our "Prince of Peace." Our kids performed 'The 12 Days of Christmas in Minnesota' and 'Happy Birthday Jesus.' Pastor Laura shared a kid's lesson explaining how Jesus is our 'Prince of Peace' just like Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 9:6. Pastor Micah looked at how in John 14:27 Jesus told us He brings a peace unlike the peace the world can offer. Here are 3 different ways that Peace entered the world through our Messiah, Jesus Christ:

1. Winning Peace: Real peace is not won by avoiding or denying conflict. (Ephesians 2:14; Luke 2:14)
2. Receiving Peace: Jesus told His disciples that He gives peace of a different quality than the world gives. (John 14:27; John 16:33)
3. Experiencing Peace: We can, however, rob ourselves of the peace that Christ offers. (Colossians 3:15; Philippians 4:6-7)
