Pastor Micah continued our current series this week called "The Way" as we look at the life of Jesus Christ to see how He leads the way in our lives. This week we focused on Matthew 17:1-9. While on earth, Jesus often instructed people to keep His true identity a secret. However, in this passage, Jesus transfigured before Peter, James, and John, allowing them to get a glimpse of who He really was. He reveals to them that He is the messiah, the savior of the world, and the son of God. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Here are a few questions to consider how this passage applies to us today in 2023:
Bottom Line: In my life, Do I love Jesus and follow His teachings, or do I cherry pick the things I want to follow and leave the rest behind?
