In Jeremiah, God makes it clear that He is the Potter and we are the clay. Just as a potter has a purpose for his creations, God has a clear purpose for us! The psalmist in Psalm 139:14 states, "I will praise You, for I am Fearfully and Wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works and that my soul know very well." All of God's works are marvelous, and each has its purpose in His great plan. We were each given this life for a reason, and God tells us clearly in His word what that reason is. There is no mystery about what we were created to do if we simply look for the answers in the scriptures.
