This week Adam explores how Moses is yet another person who started by telling God how he wanted to serve him, but in the end learned to surrender to God's call for him. The same could be said for Job, Mary, John the Baptist, Stephen in Acts, the disciples, Elizabeth, and a host of others. All, in the end, learned to allow God to do the sending and develop the strategy. What if God has a long, glorious history of calling people to live lives other than their first choice?
