Wouldn't you agree that after 2020, the world needs healing? To many who have lost jobs, loved ones, and freedom. But a wounded world and wounded individuals can often time do us more harm than good. How do we make peace with our hurtful past? How do we move on with our lives from tragedy?

We heal. We heal from within so we can have more to draw from within.  Agree?

In this episode, I invited Helen Morris, an emotional and body code expert to join me in my Private Facebook Group The Confidence Lounge For Soul-Centered Entrepreneurs to share her experience as a mom who lost her daughter at age 18, and how she turns something terribly tragic into something amazingly beautiful.

Helen Morris is a certified Emotion Code and Body Code based out of Rotorua, New Zealand. She came across this healing modality after tragically losing her 18-year-old daughter, an only child, in a motor vehicle accident in 2017.

Prior to this, she worked in the health sector in Health Intelligence, supporting general practices in Hawke’s Bay with national health initiatives and programmes.

“There are times in life which are so momentous and pivotal you cease to be the person you were! The loss of my beautiful Tahl Kaleish was one such moment. In the space of an hour, I went from being a proud mama of an 18-year-old taking on life boldly, to someone who had to learn how to exist without the most important person in her life. This leads me to look at life with a completely new set of lenses from that moment forward.

Helen has recently launched a podcast called The Beautiful Side of Grief - your go-to podcast if you are wanting to hear from people who have moved through heart-wrenching loss or those who are at the coal-face supporting this process. It diverse, heart-warming though most of all it is positive and filled with go-to's that you can use yourself.

Grab your favorite drinks, sit back and enjoy the show.
