In episode 61 we took a ride in the way back machine to year known as "2005." It was a wild year for NASCAR as the competitors were still adjusting to a new championship structure. The savvy veterans of old still rules the series but the young guns were beginning their rise to the top. In October, the Cup series returned to Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte to face an all new, high speed racing surface and the drivers were up to the challenge. It's a race known for cautions, cautions, and more cautions, but with some incredible racing action sprinkled in. This is the 2005 UAW GM/Quality 500.
