I spoke with Robyn Schiller on July 27, 2020. It was a delight to speak with Robyn and learn more about the person behind the scenes yet so involved with Warwick Schiller Performance Horsemanship. Robyn spoke about intuition showing up in the HR world, in their business and as a parent and putting all the pieces together and do the next thing. I'm excited to share our chat with you.
Bio
Robyn Schiller has been riding horses since before she could walk. It only made sense to marry a horse trainer, since she decided early in her 20’s that a life without horses was not an option. Married to Australian, Warwick Schiller, Robyn spent the first 20 years of their marriage working corporate HR jobs and riding on the side. When Warwick’s YouTube and Subscription Video Library business took off, she left the corporate world to support the family business. Now the two, along with their son Tyler, who has a BS in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, run Warwick Schiller Performance Horsemanship and travel all over the world teaching people how to have better relationships with their horses. An NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) World Champion and 2018 World Equestrian Games Australian Reining Team member, Robyn still competes in the sport of reining. “I think what’s changed now is that I put the horse before the sport and I’ve adjusted my goals when I step into the show ring from winning, to having fun and doing the best we can on that given day.”
