Description

Episode #123 of The Athletes Podcast features Monika Klisara. Monika is a Karate athlete who began her career at the age of 5 (2000), earned her black belt at the age of 12 (2007), and started competing on an international level at the age of 14 (2009). In 2010 she became the first karate athlete to win a gold medal at the Canada Games, and In 2018 she won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Karate Championships, where she represented Karate Canada.
