Episode #166 of The Athletes Podcast features Taylor Woods, a professional hockey player, and strongwoman who has defied the odds and overcome adversity to excel in not just one, but two highly competitive sports.
Last week Taylor claimed gold at the 2023 Arnold Amateur Strongwoman World Championships. Woods was a member of the Cornell Big Red from 2012 to 2016, and is currently playing with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She won the Clarkson Cup with the Markham Thunder in 2018 and scored the last regular season goal in Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) history.
