Sheriff Agnar moves closer to discovering what "The Other World" wants from him by learning his town's fate is inextricably tied to the fate of the Spirit Wolf and all of Iceland. The border separating the Spirit World from his own, he learns, is now, and has been for decades, thinner than anyone suspected.
