Description

In the debut episode of Lifewine, we meet the trinity: Stephanie, Rachel, and sometimes Zach. Stephanie proves to us that she is the undisputed queen of kids’ jokes, at least when compared to Rachel (but the bar is low). After they open the wine (and the Buzzballz), they review the Lifetime movie INDISCRETION, a typical Lifetime movie with all the usual tropes: The passionate wildcard guy who you feel like you should find attractive (but don’t); the sex-starved, highly accomplished, beautiful wife who is seemingly unappreciated by her entire family, and the husband who, despite all his faults, may actually be a good guy if you just overlook the fact he is a bland, white, male politician.

History, grammar, Texas alcohol laws, and everything else you should have learned in school is insidiously inserted into this episode. No elephants were harmed in the making. And remember: don’t scratch your butt with a broken bottle!

For those of you watching along, you can find INDISCRETION streaming on Netflix. You can also just listen to Stephanie and Rachel attempt to verbally piece together this movie while the alcohol eventually takes over and words are hard.
