This week, we have a good old-fashioned whodunnit. Was it the husband? Was it the victim? Or was it just an accident? DEATH IN SMALL DOSES (1995), starring Richard Thomas, Tess Harper, and Glynnis O’Connor, tells the tale of a Dallas architect (O’Connor) who mysteriously dies of arsenic poisoning. The victim’s family is quick to blame her estranged husband (Thomas), but he declares his innocence and claims that it must have been self-administered. Assistant DA Jerri Simms (Harper) must find the truth, as elusive as it may be.
This episode opens up with a Brixton update, but rest assured that we have received some more positive news about his health since this recording! We also explore the history of the blue M&M, discuss the most painful ways to die, and reproach one of our favorite listeners for her questionable fetishes. Don’t forget, doctors recommend at least one Lifewine episode a week!
This movie is available to view on Tubi, Pluto TV, Sling TV, and the Lifetime Movie Club App.
