In the wine making process, there is always a small amount of liquid that evaporates from the barrel during the aging stage. This is called the "Angels’ Share", because it disappears into the sky.
We bring you our first Angels’ Share offering; a bite-sized sampling of content that would have otherwise been lost to editing. This particular clip is carved from episode 29, THE PRICE SHE PAID (1992). In this film, we encounter a scenario where a woman becomes pregnant as a result of sexual assault. She keeps the baby, and the assailant is sent to prison. Twelve years later, the offender is out on parole and gains legal visitation rights to the child.
In this clip, we take a deep dive into the concept of rehabilitation. Can imprisonment or punishment help lead a wrongdoer to reform? Or is rehabilitation a more complicated process than that?
