NSAIDs are one of the most commonly prescribed and purchased drugs today, primarily for purposes of reducing inflammation and pain management. We have all resorted to taking drugs like Ibuprofen when experiencing aches and pains, whether it's from an acute injury, chronic pain, or a simple headache; but do we actually know how these drugs are affecting our body?
