A very beloved priest of 72 years and THE greatest storyteller joins us this week, Fr. Floyd Calais!
Fr. Calais dazzles us with ALL the memories and ALL the laughter as we reminisce on the influence of his parents in his life, his entering the seminary at the age of 15, and the burning desire to be appointed pastor of his own parish. Fr. Calais began asking for intercession from Our Little Cajun Saint, Charlene Richard, and two weeks later he was assigned to Richard, LA. He credits her to helping him build two churches in the diocese of Lafayette, and he continues to rely on her intercession today to make big things happen.
What an absolute dream come true to interview the man who baptized Kayla and celebrated the sacraments of her first reconciliation and communion. HUGE shoutout to Kent Zerangue for setting this up, and for being there to experience this moment with us. Join us for ALL of the joy that is Fr. Calais!
