This week was a doozy! We discussed the concept of life in prison without any option for parole. Beth tells the story of Susan Lawrence (a doctor AND a lawyer) who worked tirelessly to help a man in prison for life get parole, and then he turned on her. If you'd like to read the article she wrote, you can find that here. We discuss the nuance of the story and share our opinions on whether people in prison for life should be offered parole.
The wine drank LaPosta Pizzella, a Malbec from Argentina. WOW. What a wine. First, the branding on the bottle is beautiful. Next, the wine is spicy, dense, with dark berry flavors. We absolutely loved this bottle and it's $16!
