- So let's break down those plays of the days.
- First, we are all really, really good at first spikes. Well, what does that mean? You really need to listen to the entire podcast. We are all good at starting things. Are we good at finishing them? Oh snap.
- Second, most of us are really, really good at legalism. Especially in this day and age. Do this. Don't do that. We love to tell people what to do. More so than ever.
- Maybe you are broken and hopeless. Maybe you are fighting so hard and going through hell with legit asking why?! Thanks to Dr. Lorrits, I learned a new word today. "Agonizomai": which means to fight, struggle be it an athlete getting pounded on in a game or someone in a hospital or on the street. Please know this, if you are suffering, you are in elite company. Check out James 1. Check out the verses that Dr. Lorrits mentions about Paul and 1 Cor 11. The Bible is clear on that. The best of the best went or go through the worst. So, are you at a level worthy of attack? Ever thought about it that way? You sticking out like Jesus with your goal and life plan or are you going with the flow of the ways of the world? Better at judging or loving Are you really good at starting out doing something strong? Can you finish?
- Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I'm feeling judged. Haha! Well hopefully, you can laugh at that. I am not judging you. I am with you. I feel like I've been the cocky pharisee and that hypocrite pastor. You heard my confession on finances/other. If not, back up to previous episodes. I need this just like you. I am Rom 3:23. I need to finish better. I need to put in more last spikes. I want to finish strong with Jesus. I want to hear well done.
