Yes!  You are in!  Buckle up!  Going back to Dr. Lorrits and an amazing 'Play of the Day' recorded before the latest crap hit the fan in DC.  Here you go...

If you dig the Play of the Day, check out the Bryan Lorrits podcast.  This one was published on 1/4/21

Word!  Who or what is your King Uzziah?  Some of you don't know because it hasn't been threatened yet.  Some of you painfully know what it is now as it or he or she is gone now and you are in a tailspin.

BTW, you think I'm picking on you but I pick on me.  We are all guilty of this at times.  All of us.  Rom 3:23.  For me, finances was one of the areas.  I'll be sharing more on that, most likely in the next Stronger series.

As for politics or whatever you are fighting about with your spouse or a family member or co-worker or stranger, please listen to the wise.  If you call yourself a "Christian', Jesus Christ gave you a clear mandate in Matt 22:  25-40 and Mark 12:  28-34:

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

You follow Jesus words and you will be fighting a lot less.  Love and serving one another is the key for your marriage to work, any key relationship you care about to work and for any kingdom to survive.

Ending on a song note, going back to Jeremy Camp and 'Out of My Hands".  When your cage gets rattled, when worry/anxiety/depression bogs you down.  Lift Phil 4: 6-8.  Lift and pray on what you can't control.  Give thanks for what is worthy.  If you do this enough, you will experience God's peace.  Now go, reflect on what are your King Uzziah's in life, take it to the ultimate source God, love God, love others...and remember God wins in the end...pick the winning side...
