Yes! You are in. You matter. You absolutely do. That includes you tuning in from Germany, Hungary, Russia, The Philippines, America. You matter. It is also your job in life to tune into why. Word! Wisdom, it is worth more than gold. How many of us are truly pursuing wisdom? How many books do you read encourage wisdom? How many of those books are 2,000 to several thousand years old and still resonate today? Many call it, including me, the Owner's Manual for Life. Most consider the Bible just a book of fairy tales. For the wise, they know better. Pastor Rick and countless others are living, breathing examples of that. Flawed people tuning into wisdom.
So, back to you. In order to know you matter, you need to read, see and hear things that affirm that. If you are not doing it already, I'll challenge you to read the Bible daily. Start with 5 minutes a day. Start John or Matthew. If you are really digging wisdom go to Proverbs.
Validation will fuel your matter index. As Pastor Rick states, you will raise fulfillment levels by employing your experiences - good and bad. Who better to help empathize with someone that has experienced a similar bad/traumatic experience: from losing a child, to sexual abuse, to war, to addiction, cancer, depression fill in the B.S. sandwich. This world is full of brutal. It will test the best of us. And the best of us will share what worked/works in life and doesn't.
You need coaches. You also need to coach/serve others. That is a key part and test of life. Will you check your pride/ego and seek both sides of that test? I guarantee you that you will feel better the more you do that. In fact, it's not my promise, it is God's promise, check Romans 8:28.
