Giving and caring for each other is fundamental to who we are as a community. It’s how we have not only survived but thrived throughout history. In this week’s episode Robert Bolling and Veronica Fleming discuss philanthropy in the black community. Robert is a member of Ujima, a giving circle of African American men (www.ujimalegacyfund.com). Veronica is a founding member of Sisterfund, a grant-making initiative which unites philanthropic African American women (www.sisterfundrva.org). Robert and Veronica share results from the pivotal Giving Black Study. How do we give and what causes are important to us? Listen in and join in!
