This week Gayle King interviewed former WNBA Star Lisa Leslie. Lisa was a close friend of Kobe Bryant. During the interview, Gayle questioned Lisa about Kobe's legacy; however, she also mentioned allegations previously made against Kobe.
Consequently, Gayle has been trending all week and not in a good way. To say there has been a s**t storm would be an understatement.
Both Lou and Teresa agree that Gayle crossed the line given the fact that so many people are still grieving over Kobe's death. The fact that his daughter Gigi and seven others also died has intensified the mourning throughout the country.
There have been quite a few attacks on Gayle and threats against her life. Lou and Teresa discuss how we move forward as a community.
