When we breathe slow we activate our parasympathetic nervous system that tells our brain we are safe. When we breathe quickly, we activate our sympathetic nervous system that tells our body to fight or flight.

In this episode, Kimmy Moss, a breath and exposure coach, shares some reasons this is a good practice and how to begin the practice of cold exposure and breath practice in your own home. This is an activity that combines both physical and mental exercise into one experience.
