Overview: 1) The Purpose of Parables -- Jesus didn’t start telling parables to reveal truth. He started telling parables to hide truth from those who closed their eyes and hearts to God’s truth. (2) The Parable of the Sower -- God calls us to “seed” people with God’s word. People’s hearts (the soils) determine whether that will bring people to life.
