Mike Kelly from Amery joins us for the first part of this year's Team State Champion Coaches' interviews. He gave us so much quality material that we had to split our conversation up into two parts! In this first part, Mike talks about his wrestling story and how his life journey eventually lead him to coaching Amery and we talk about this year's team and their journey through the sectional tournament (Individual and Team State conversation will be in part 2). From running 14 miles to school in his high school career to coaching success at the collegiate level to wrestling at the Midlands a record sixteen times in a row, Mike's stories make a good case for him to be one of the most interesting wrestling figures that we have in Wisconsin!
