Why do people respond with "I'm doing fine" when asked "How are you doing?" May I tell you a secret. Fine is not a feeling word. It's okay to say you are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, scared, anxious, depressed, or constipated. Practice using feeling words. If a person doesn't respond in a caring way, simply say, "In spite of how I feel, God is strengthening me." Tune in to listen to the latest episode.
