What exactly is “Soul Care” and how does it work? Join Dr. Scott Engelman as he lays out a biblical perspective of Pastoral Soul Care through which God works to breathe fresh life into your entire being. Your body, mind and heart will be restored as you relate with Him in your service to others.

You do not need to be an ordained Pastor for this message to be relevant and powerful.   We are all called to be disciples of Jesus Christ and this message encourages us to make space for God so that we might become more aware of Him in all areas of our lives for the sake of others and for our joy.

Ministry by its very nature is busy and demanding. Like a tire punctured with a nail, it can slowly deplete a man's physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual reserves - leaving him exhausted and completely “flat” over time.

Most men have neither the time nor knowledge to repair the leak and replenish their soul. Consequently, they limp through ministry on the “rim”, hoping to make it to their next vacation, while wondering how they’ll ever finish the journey itself. Frustrated and alone, they feel their only option is to put their head down and dutifully press on, all the time wondering what Jesus meant by the words, “Come to me all you who are weary and exhausted, and I will give you rest”.

Given this ministry reality, caring for the soul is not an option or luxury. It is absolutely necessary for long-lasting, life-giving, soul-filling ministry.
