Dr. Lisa Eshun-Wilson has a Ph.D. in Molecular and Structural Biology from UC Berkeley. She is the first African-American to graduate within her field of study from UC Berkeley. Even more interesting, in the summer of 2019 - Lisa went to a conference in her field in China, and out of thousands of applications, Lisa was the ONLY African American to apply. She is an advocate to increase the number of diverse students in this field, and make sure there is mentorship available as students navigate through undergrad and grad school. Tune in and learn more about her story!
