Dream Word – DESTINY
Psalm 47:1-4 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. He will subdue the peoples under us, And the nations under our feet. He will choose our inheritance for us, The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. NKJV
The blind West loves 'Hollywood Karma,' but that is because it does not fully understand Karma, no, what it is really trying to describe is the law of universal reciprocity, or, what the Bible declares to be the law of sowing and reaping. Yes, the blind West loves 'Hollywood Karma,' because it does not fully understand the concept of Karma, for I tell you, that true Karmic destiny is to be content with your position and calling in life cleaning out the elephant cages. Yes, even if you’re gifted as a doctor and have the opportunity to study for the same, true Karmic destiny still says, that if you are tasked to clean out the elephant cages for the rest of your life, then that is what you must do. Breaking Karmic destiny, that is, creating bad-Karma by ceasing to be an elephant keeper and actually becoming a doctor, can have grave consequences for both you and your family both now, and in all future life cycles. Now this Karmic explanation is the understanding of one ‘world view’ held by countless millions in other parts of this weird and weary world. I say, in other parts the world, yet this year, and now every year in Scotland's capital of Edinburgh, Diwali will parade its false gods and idols through the streets whilst the blind look on and laugh.
Tonight, I do want to talk about Hollywood Karma, but of God's grace in Christ Jesus and of our inheritance purchased by him. Tonight, I want to talk about one aspect of the grace of God seen in our incredible, and ever-unfolding inheritance as sons. So, in receiving this inheritance of sonship, we have received it in cosmic proportions and not in Karmic propensity. In other words, I say that when God gives us an inheritance, though it has a location with respect to boundaries, both materially and metaphysically, it also has within it, infinite room for eternal expansion, eternal growth which can only be gained through a continuing conquest of a personal faith. Yes, spiritual acquisition always takes the exercising faith, strength, and courage, and when this trident of pursuance is stabbed into the rear end of all our resistant enemies, of all of our 'receiving' blockers, then they will eventually fall back screaming or be destroyed at the possession of our inheritance! Faith and the need to walk and act by faith is an eternal necessity for the pleasure of God most High. Acts of faith continue on in the ages to come.
Therefore, when God divides to us our inheritance, we still have the possibility, the need, the desire, even, and I believe, the expectation of God to also say to Him, “Give me this mountain!” Or, “Give me also springs of water!” Or “Give me also this better gift which I seek,” Or,..well you get the picture. We have an ever-unfolding inheritance.
That possession God has divided to you is an unfolding, never-ending, expanding universe of conquest and discovery and acquisition. There is no need to envy another person’s inheritance, when whole continents, planets, star systems and universes, really do lay waiting for the discovery in that particular inheritance which is yours. No, I am not a Mormon, I am a Christian and God’s gifts, you see, are like Russian dolls, the opening of which goes on forever and forever, amen. (How on earth do I begin to describe this?)
Therefore, stop whining about your seeming inadequacies, of what you have or have not got, and instead start discovering the unfolding of all God's good gifts to you. I believe that there is mor
