We chat being perceived as "exotic" on dating apps to brown boys wanting women to be "not too brown" and struggling to be seen as people and not objects. From growing up in Pakistan then moving to the US, rethinking religion, choosing to remove her hijab, and moving out with her partner. She shares her journey while taking her mom along for the ride.
