Zara is 25 years old, grew up in the UK, and is a practicing Shia Muslim and currently lives with her boyfriend. We talk living together, the personal role religion can play in ones life, refusing to ask her partner to convert, her relationship with her parents and community, and finding her own sense of identity and belonging.
