In this episode I bring on my good friend Patrick Bryant to talk about how to nourish our souls with mindful approaches to healthy living. Eating is a social function! From the day we are born, we are connecting to someone. Whether it's our mother breastfeeding us, sitting with the family for dinner, or enjoying a meal in front of the TV, we don't ever eat alone. That's why going forward I am honored to have my friend and licensed therapist Patrick Bryant to discuss some of the ways men interact around food, and what fills us physically as well as emotionally. In this episode we introduce topics such as hyper-masculinity, loneliness, homophobia, and emotional eating, and how the work Patrick and I do can help people better unravel the gender biases and stereotypes in our society.
You can find Patrick Bryant at The Peaceful Place, LLC and on Facebook, and make sure to listen in each month where Patrick and I will have a nutrition and wellness topic for men. We will be taking your listener questions and comments as well and discussing them on this show.
