Jacqui Davidson and Lisa Parker re-create the recipe for Macaroons from theJohn Gosling 1742 Cook Book. The John Gosling Cook Book is a handwritten book dating back to the Georgain-era containing recipes from various cooks both female and male.The book contains recipes for sweet, savoury, medicinal, beverages, preserves and beauty. The bookalso changed hands at a Mr Bakers fate on the 15th August 1827 where the new owner described it as 'very antique' and also continued to add recipes into the book.
