A few hours drive north of Charlotte, North Carolina is a quiet place over the crest of a hill, off a gravel road called The Well of Mercy, or by those who are lucky enough to have visited “The Well.”
Started by two Catholic sisters as a place where people could simply sit with their own thoughts and be, The Well feels like the most comfortable home you’ve ever been in.
In this interview, journalist Charu Kumarhia talks to Jane Motsinger, Sandra O’Brien and Sister Donna Marie Vaillancourt about the amazing things that come to be when one can just be still.
