Many video games over the years have been lost or been left unreleased to the public at large. One of the most notorious games released during the heat of the SimCity craze in the early 1990's was a simulation game built like SimCity called SimRefinery. It was made exclusively for use for a corporation and it's staff to play to learn how an oil refinery worked.
After 1993 and only a few poor quality screenshots of the game existing it was thought to have been gone forever...
