Happy Solstice of the Millennium All!
With Jupiter meeting Saturn tomorrow on the Solstice exact at 12:21 central at 0 Aquarius we end 2020 on a major up note... this conjunction, referred to by many as the "Great Conjunction," the "Christmas Star" or "Star of Bethlehem" is a birth event on many levels.
Jupiter meets Saturn every 20 years, so this is the seed point for a new 20 year Aquarius activation at the smallest scale. This activation also completes a 200 year Earth phase of human culture focused on the material realms, initiating a new 200 year "breath of fresh air."
This is also an activation we have not seen the likes of for nearly a century, as the two planets have not been this close, visible to much of the global population for 800 years, since the 1200's.
If 2020 featured the death rattle of cultural norms, beliefs and human ecosystems past their prime and we have been in the role of cultural death doulas, then this Great Conjunction guiding us into 2021 is like the first breath of air for an infant just born, emerging into the world fresh, new, vulnerable, needing our care and nurturance--we are to become midwives for a New Vision, compelling enough to empower the collective to wake up and enact massive change at the micro and macro scales.
Aquarius invites us to become Vision Carriers, to expand our view, refresh our perspective and give birth to new visions for our lives and our world. Our baby visions are born in the darkest night in the northern hemisphere, where they can be safely nourished to grow into their full form, which may take many years--at least 12, if not 20, to come into full manifestation.
Can we draw on the strength of Capricorn we have gained through Pluto, Saturn, the South Node and Jupiter's movement through the sign, highlighted for the coming month as the Sun moves through all 30 degrees of this seasonal sign, in order to commit to the daily and long term work needed to manifest a larger vision? Can we do it together? Can we move beyond our smaller spheres of influence and personal concerns to care for the whole, for the collective, and the generations of humans and Earth herself to follow?
