For quite some time, I have been drawn to the Prophet Daniel’s intercessory prayer for Israel found in Daniel, Chapter 9….verses 1-19. In this passage, we find an example of “How to” pray for a nation. For us today…Daniel’s prayer offers valuable insight in how to effectively pray for America during this time of pandemic and chaos. Please understand…. This is not a rigid…legalistic formula…But, like the Lord’s Prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4…It is a teaching tool.
