This podcast will teach a very insightful lesson on how to coach to these three types of people on your team and within your organization.
There are three types of employees in an organization. Here's a simplistic view of those employee types:
- Dedicated influencers- dedicated influencers find a way and seek ways to help the team and the organization as well as their teammates on a daily basis. They go above and beyond the call of duty seeking ways to push the organization and the team forward.
- Doers- doers are exactly what they sound like, they do their job and often do it fairly well meeting core requirements. When around detractors they will not join them nor will they find ways to join the dedicated influencers, often succumbing to what is expected nothing more and nothing less.
- Detractors- detractors are people who simply find ways to pull people back. We call these people bleacher people, people who sit in the bleachers and often complain about the people in the field on how they're performing or what they're doing without ever really truly getting on the field to join them.
