On this weeks #wednesdaywellbeing show we are chatting about #parenthood.
Becoming a Father or mother can be a challenging time and a rebirth into new roles and identities. When life throws curve balls, illness, separation, how do we take care of our wellbeing as well as those in our families.
I'll be chatting with Heather who was a successful business woman and a super organised wedding planner, she loved travel and had a great life.
Having overcome a rape and a violent relationship. Becoming a mother was a massive challenge for her. After a tough pregnancy and a traumatic birth she developed post natal depression. She discovered mindfulness gained her Diploma and started using the techniques to help herself and her son Isac.
Together Heather and Isac have created Mindset and Me. Mindset and Me create affirmation and mindset products for children who maybe in need a confidence boost, to be inspired, taught the importance of self-love, love of others and responsibility.
Mindset is everything, it can help children develop and learn NOT to give up.
We want our children to be confident, resilient, develop high self esteem and ambition to achieve anything they want to in life. She also runs support groups for parents as well as supporting mums to run their own businesses too.

Let's not forget that Dads have tough times too. However every day 200 children
lose contact with their fathers in secret courts. (Fathers4Justice)
1 in 3 children live without their father (Office of National Statistics) and 3.8 Million children are fatherless in the UK.
I'll be chatting with Jonny about his experience of becoming a Dad and how he had to go through the UK court experience, supervised visits and the pain of being separated from his daughter.
I'll be chatting about how he supports Dads in this position with a new programme that brings a whole fresh perspective breaking the current molds.
