FA Cup Draw
Another battling performance from the Latics saw us overcome local rivals and Championship pacesetters, Blackburn Rovers in this 3rd round FA Cup tie.
Following a goalless first half the second period brought us five goals, loads of incident, and a last gasp wonder goal from Thelo Aasgaard that saw the Latics progress through to round 4.
The FA Cup draw was anything but favourable, an away tie at Stoke City isn't appetising by any stretch of the imagination, but it is what it is and the game brings back lots of memories from previous meetings between the two clubs.
