This sermon kicks off our 'Saturated' series. You will discover that while you cannot be a Christian without the Holy Spirit indwelling you, it is possible to go about the Christian life, and even live a satisfactory Christian life, without seeking the empowerment of the Spirit. But having our sins forgiven is just the beginning of our Christian walk; the Christian life is also about having a power by which to live. This empowering comes through the baptism of the Holy Spirit - and then through continually being filled with the Spirit - which ultimately gives us the power we need to carry out God's will and accomplish His purposes for our lives.
